Belle's Bookshelf

Can't do it. The writing is ordinary, the characters are flat and the story isn't grabbing me. I read some spoilers and it made me want to read the rest even less. Ever seems like a terrible MC, the two love interests (insta-love triangle, booooo) do not appeal at all, and the plot seems mostly non-existent and/or terrible.Having just read the amazing Preloved by Shirley Marr, I can't be bothered with a sub-par ghostly romance. Maybe I'll come back to this down the track. Probably not. There are too many books I want to read for me to waste time with something that doesn't hold my interest.Thanks to the publishers for approving me for a review copy via Netgalley, but this book just isn't for me.
